A Gold Coast resident or visitor has kick-started the week as a multi-millionaire after scoring division one in the weekend’s Saturday Gold Lotto draw – they just don’t know it yet.
The Queenslander held one of the four division one winning entries across Australia in Saturday Gold Lotto draw 4189, drawn Saturday 11 September 2021. Each division one winning entry took home $2,500,000.
However, the winning entry is unregistered, which means officials from The Lott have no way of contacting the winner to break the life-changing news. Instead, they’re waiting for the ticketholder to come forward to claim their prize.
Their life-changing entry was purchased at Palm Beach Newsagency, Shop 5A, Pavilions on 5th, 6 Fifth Avenue, Palm Beach.
Palm Beach Newsagency owner John Scanes said he was hoping to hear from their latest winner soon.
“We are so excited for our lucky customer, and we’re really hoping this prize has gone to one of our locals,” he said.

The Lott spokesperson Lauren Cooney said she was eager to unite the Gold Coast’s latest division one winner with their prize.

The winning numbers in Saturday Gold Lotto draw 4189 on 11 September 2021 were 17, 34, 8, 10, 26 and 23, while the supplementary numbers were 36 and 41.
Across Australia, there were four division one winning entries in Saturday Gold Lotto draw 4189 – one each from Queensland, Victoria, South Australia and Western Australia.
The Lott’s division one winning tally has now reached 318 so far this calendar year, including 77 won by Golden Casket customers.
In the 12 months to 30 June 2021, Saturday Gold Lotto created 174 millionaires across Australia.
