It’s likely a Randwick resident or visitor has woken up this morning and gone about their Monday without checking their Saturday Lotto ticket and discovering they’re a newly-made multi-millionaire.
The mystery New South Wales winner held one of the 10 division one winning entries in Saturday Lotto draw 4177, drawn Saturday 31 July 2021. Each division one winning entry scored $2 million.
The ticket is unregistered so officials from The Lott have no way of contacting the winner to break the news. Instead, they must wait for the ticketholder to come forward and claim their prize.
The winning entry was purchased at Frenchmans Road Newsagency, Shop 2, 57 Frenchmans Road, Randwick.
Frenchmans Road Newsagency owner James Huang said he was beyond ecstatic about the news.
“I was really excited when I saw the message on the terminal. I couldn’t believe what I was seeing!” he exclaimed.
“In July, we commenced our 17th year since starting the business. We’ve had five major prize wins in the last 16 years. This win has been a long time coming!
“It has been a tough time for everyone due to the COVID-19 outbreak. I’m sure the win has come at a great time for the winner. It’s great to know there are also nine other winners sharing this major prize.
“I hope the mystery winner checks their ticket soon. I'm sure it will make their week!
The Lott spokesperson Anna Hobdell said she was eager to unite the region’s newest millionaire with their prize.
“It’s likely this winner has been going about their weekend with no idea they’ve just won $2 million!” she said.

The winning numbers in Saturday Lotto draw 4177 on 31 July 2021 were 32, 41, 13, 16, 33, 18, while the supplementary numbers were 9 and 19.
Across Australia, there were 10 division one winning entries in Saturday Lotto draw 4177 – two each from Queensland, Victoria and Tasmania, and four from New South Wales.
