A Windaroo resident or visitor won $1.25 million in the weekend’s Saturday Gold Lotto draw but may be unaware of the fact they’ve won a division one prize.
The mystery ticketholder held one of 16 division one winning entries across Australia in Saturday Gold Lotto draw 4243, drawn Saturday 19 March 2022, and has scored an incredible prize of $1,25 million.
The winning entry was not registered to a player card, which means officials from The Lott have no way of letting the winner know of their life-enhancing win and will have to wait for them to check their ticket.
The winning ticket was purchased at TSG Windaroo News, Shop 9 Windaroo Shopping Village, 2 Carl Heck Boulevard, Windaroo.
TSG Windaroo News owner Anil Balia shared he was overjoyed the shop had sold a division one winning entry.
“The store has been through a lot over the last 12 months, having almost been destroyed by fire, so this breathes life back into the store and the entire team,” he exclaimed.
“We’d never sold a division one winning entry before it’s extremely exciting.
“Many of our customers are regular visitors and feel like family, so they’ve been sharing in our joy. Everyone is over the moon.

The Lott spokesperson James Eddy said he was eager to speak to the mystery winner and give them the amazing news.

The winning numbers in Saturday Gold Lotto draw 4243 on 19 March 2022 were 32, 24, 43, 38, 10 and 34, while the supplementary numbers were 6 and 25.
