A Capalaba resident of visitor won $1.25 million in the weekend’s Saturday Gold Lotto draw but may be unaware of the fact they’re a newly minted millionaire.
The mystery Redland ticketholder held one of 16 division one winning entries across Australia in Saturday Gold Lotto draw 4243, drawn Saturday 19 March 2022, and has scored an incredible prize of $1,250,000.00.
The million dollar winning entry was not registered to a player card, which means officials from The Lott have no way of notifying the winner of their life-changing win and have to wait for them to check their ticket.
The winning ticket was purchased at The Lucky Charm Capalaba, Shop 80A Capalaba Central Shopping Centre, Moreton Bay Road, Capalaba.
The Lucky Charm Capalaba owner Jeff Middenway said selling a division one winning entry was fantastic, having only officially opened in October 2021.
“We are ecstatic to have sold a major jackpot winning entry so soon after opening our store!” he said.

The winning numbers in Saturday Gold Lotto draw 4243 on 19 March 2022 were 32, 24, 43, 38, 10 and 34, while the supplementary numbers were 6 and 25.
