However, how South Australia’s latest major winner plans to spend their windfall will forever remain a mystery as the Gawler player has chosen to stay completely anonymous and celebrate in private.
The winning entry was purchased from Gawler Newsagency, 68 Murray Street, Gawler.
The Lott spokesperson Anna Hobdell said she was sure the player was grinning from ear to ear knowing they’d taken home a division one win.
“While we may never know how they plan to enjoy their prize, we have no doubt they are walking around today with a spring in their step, making plans for their future,” she said.
“Other winners tell us they use their prize to help their families for years to come, kick-start their businesses, upgrade their home with renovations or splurge on a new car.
“However our winner chooses to use their prize, we hope they enjoy their winning feeling as long as they can.”
