A South Coast tradie is knocking off permanently after today discovering he’s woken up a millionaire, winning division one in last night’s Monday & Wednesday Lotto draw.

The New South Wales player held the only division one winning entry nationally in Monday & Wednesday Lotto draw 3864, drawn Monday 29 April 2019. He takes home a division one prize of $1,000,000.

The man was completely oblivious to his millionaire status when a NSW Lotteries official contacted him this morning to break the news.

“You’re joking?” he questioned.

“Thank you very much! I can’t believe it!

“Wow. This is so hard to believe because I’ve never won anything in my life!

“I play Monday Lotto every week and I’ll probably keep playing!”

The stunned winner said he was completely shocked by the news and revealed he’d need some time to think about how he’d use his windfall.

“I don’t know yet! I really don’t know what to say. I’m totally shocked!” he said.

“The first think I will do is retire, that’s for sure!”

The winner, who wishes to remain anonymous, purchased his winning 18-game QuickPick entry at Sturgiss Newsagency, 110-112 Junction Street, Nowra.

Sturgiss Newsagency team member Leonie Blacka said she couldn’t think of a happier way to start the day than discovering her outlet had sold a division one winning entry.

"We are very excited to hear that one of our valued customers has won this life changing prize!” she exclaimed.

“This will be our second major prize in the last fortnight and we couldn't be happier.

“We wish the lucky winner and their family all the best! Congratulations!"

Another major prize yet to be claimed from Sturgiss Newsagency

NSW Lotteries officials are still searching for the player who purchased a 1st Prize winning entry from Sturgiss Newsagency, winning $200,000 in a Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot draw almost two weeks ago.

The New South Wales entry won the guaranteed 1st Prize in Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot draw 1283, drawn Thursday 18 April 2019.

The mystery winner’s entry was not registered to a Players Club card, so NSW Lotteries officials have no way of contacting the state’s newest winner to break the life-changing news.

If you discover you’re the owner of the winning ticket, call NSW Lotteries as soon as possible on 131 868 to start the process of claiming your prize.

In 2018, Monday & Wednesday Lotto and Saturday Lotto created 194 millionaires across Australia.
