A St Albans shopper has started the working week with a smile after discovering they won division one in Saturday’s TattsLotto draw.

The Melbourne resident held one of the four division one winning entries nationally in TattsLotto draw 3913, drawn Saturday 19 January 2019. Each entry took home a division one prize of $1,029,708.99.

However, how the newly minted millionaire plans to spend their TattsLotto windfall will forever remain a mystery as they have chosen to remain completely anonymous and celebrate in private.

Tatts spokesperson Bronwyn Spencer said that while we may never know how the St Albans shopper plans to spend their TattsLotto windfall we are sure it is a great kick-start to the year.

“What better way to start 2019 than by discovering you are a newly-minted millionaire!” she exclaimed.

“No doubt our winner’s plans for the year will change when their bank account balloons by a few more zeros!

“Other winners tell us they love to share their windfall with their family, go on overseas holidays, pay off their mortgage or buy a new home.

“However our winner chooses to enjoy their windfall we are sure it has changed their lives forever!”

The winner, who wishes to remain anonymous, purchased their entry at Winning Lotteries St Albans, 59 Alfrieda Street, St Albans.

Owner of Winning Lotteries St Albans Seang Tay said she was ecstatic that her outlet had sold a division one winning ticket.

“We are so thrilled for our outlet and so happy for our customer too!” she exclaimed.

“We will be celebrating the win with a couple of well-deserved drinks!

“Our customers will be extremely happy we’ve sold a winner and they will be hoping they are our next division one winner.

“We have sold five division one winning entries since taking over the outlet in 2014. The last time we sold a division one winning entry was as part of a syndicate in December last year.

“Congratulations to the customer – we are sure this win will be life-changing and well deserved!

“Selling a division one winning entry is one of the greatest moments of owning a Tatts business. We are proud to be part of something that is life changing and brings joy into peoples lives!”
