A Strathmore woman couldn’t help but exclaim with glee this morning when she heard the news she was more than $1.7 million richer from winning division one in Saturday’s $30 million Megadraw.
The overjoyed winner held one of the 17 division one winning entries nationally in TattsLotto draw 3907, drawn Saturday 29 December 2018. Each entry takes home a division one prize of $1,764,705.89.
Sharing her unbridled joy with a Tatts official this morning, the winner couldn’t contain her shock when she heard the news.
“Oh! Gosh! You’re joking! Oh my god!” she exclaimed.
“This is fair dinkum? How much did I win again?
“You don’t know what this means to me! Thank you so much. I’ll guard the ticket with my life!
“I usually play every Saturday but I had missed a few weeks. I was out shopping yesterday and I decided to get two different tickets at two different outlets just while I did the shopping.
“I talk to my dog and I said to her this morning ‘We haven’t got a call from TattsLotto yet, maybe next time’.
“But it goes to show, you never know do you?”
When asked how she planned to spend her TattsLotto windfall, the happy winner revealed her beloved family were at the top of her Lotto List.
“When I bought the ticket I was thinking of my family. I wanted to win to help them out,” she explained.
“I’ll help my family out as much as I can and then who knows! They live interstate so I might go and visit them.
“I just can’t believe it! I think I’ll go out with my girlfriends to celebrate!”
The thrilled woman purchased her winning 12-game QuickPick entry at The Lucky Charm Airport West #2, Shop 142 Westfield Airport West, 29-35 Louis Street, Airport West.
