A Surat woman has expressed her feeling of dizziness as she scratched a $25,000 prize on an Instant Scratch-Its ticket.
The top prize-winning $2 Blooming Riches ticket was purchased at Surat Post & News, 5 Charlotte Street, Surat.
Sharing her excitement with an official from The Lott this morning, the Surat resident said she had been buying Instant Scratch-It tickets regularly and was elated by the win.
“I buy a few tickets at the newsagency every week. I love to scratch them,” she explained.
“I actually won $10,000 dollars a few years ago, so it was great to have another win!
“I instantly felt giddy. I didn’t expect to have another win.
“I am thrilled! I never thought I would win another major prize!
When asked how she will enjoy her $25,000 winnings, she was so filled with joy that she didn’t know where to start.
“I’m really not too sure how I will spend my prize. I’m still in shock,” she expressed.
“I know for sure that I’ll enjoy the winnings though.
“It’s amazing to receive another prize!”
Surat Post & News owner Johanne Hancock said she was over the moon to see a regular customer pick up a top prize winning Instant Scratch-Its ticket from her outlet.
“We were so excited to see a local and regular customer win a $25,000 prize,” she said.
“Not only is it great that it has gone to a loyal customer, it’s very exciting to see a rural newsagency sell a top prize.
“This is the second top prize winning Instant Scratch-Its ticket we’ve sold.
