A Hobart man is eyeing a retirement filled with travel and adventures after he pocketed almost a million dollars in the weekend’s TattsLotto draw.
The Tasmanian held one of the 21 division one winning entries in TattsLotto draw 4489 on Saturday 27 July 2024. Each division one winning entry scored $952,380.96.
“I’m speechless!” he cried when his win was confirmed by an official from The Lott.
“It’s very nice!
“I’m glad you called. I’m still waking up, but you could ring me at 3am with that kind of news.
“I wouldn’t have checked the ticket for a couple of days and would have had no idea.
“This has come at just the right time. It allows us to get ahead.
“We’ll pay off some bills and we’d love to plan a big holiday and help the children.
“We’re not going to do much today – just keep looking at the ticket!
“Thank you very much. Keep up the good work!”
The man’s winning 50-game QuickPick entry was purchased via The Lott app – the official home of Australia’s lotteries.
The winning numbers in TattsLotto draw 4489 on 27 July 2024 were 4, 37, 45, 27, 11 and 20, while the supplementary numbers were 15 and 10.
Across Australia, there were 21 division one winning entries in TattsLotto draw 4489 – eight in Victoria, five in New South Wales, four in Queensland and two each in South Australia and Western Australia..
The Lott’s division one winning tally has now reached 252 so far in 2024, including 93 won by Tatts customers.
