A Templestowe Lower TattsLotto player has officially achieved multi-millionaire status after scoring $2.59 million in the weekend’s draw.
The Victorian held one of the two division one winning entries across Australia in TattsLotto draw 4253 on Saturday, 23 April 2022. Each division one winning entry scored $2,599,115.93.
As well as winning division one, the player also scored division three 12 times and division four 15 times, boosting their total win to $2,611,054.73
However, how the winner plans to spend their windfall will forever remain a mystery as they have chosen to stay completely anonymous and celebrate in private.
The winning entry was purchased from Macedon News & Lotto, 25 Macedon Road, Templestowe Lower.
Macedon News & Lotto team member Sue Pham said the entire team was ecstatic to have sold a division one winning entry.
“When we heard the news, we were so excited,” she said.
“It almost feels like we’ve won division one ourselves! What a great way to start the week.
“We’ve been telling all our customers this morning about our win, and everyone is so happy.
“I hope the winner is thrilled about their prize! I know we are.
“We can’t wait for some more big wins. It’s just so exciting!”
The Lott spokesperson Ally Ramsamy said she was sure the winner was busy making exciting plans for the rest of the year with their windfall.
“While we may never know how they plan to enjoy their prize, we have no doubt they are walking around today grinning from ear to ear after discovering their win,” she said.
“Other winners tell us they use their prize to help their families, buy a new house, upgrade their home with renovations or splurge on a new car.
“However our winner chooses to use their prize, we hope they enjoy the winning feeling as long as they can.”
The winning numbers in TattsLotto draw 4253 on 23 April 2022 were 33, 3, 23, 45, 31, 39, while the supplementary numbers were 17 and 20.
