An Erskine Park woman has revealed she accidentally watched the moment her long‑standing syndicate struck gold landing $1 million in a recent Weekday Windfall draw.
The New South Wales friends held the only division one winning entry nationally in Weekday Windfall draw 4692, drawn Monday 20 April 2026 worth $1 million.
In addition to division one, the group also bagged division two 6 times, division three 6 times and division four 15 times boosting their total win to $1,027,114.15.
When an official from The Lott called to confirm the life‑changing news, the stunned winners were filled with joy.
“Thank you! Gosh, I’m so glad we’re sitting down right now!” one of the winning friends exclaimed.
“I don’t normally watch the draw but it just so happened I was out and about when it came up on tv. I thought ‘Hang on a moment, that’s our numbers!’.
“We’ve been playing these numbers for 40 years so I couldn’t believe my eyes. I knew for sure they were ours but I wanted to be sure I wasn’t seeing things.
“It’s a joint ticket actually between my husband, myself and another couple.
“I’m still in shock. Although I saw it last night, I didn’t want to get too excited before it was confirmed.
“We’re completely thrilled.”
When asked how she plans to spend her share of the seven‑figure win, the woman said the news was still sinking in.
“I don’t know yet! I’ll let the dust settle and then decide,” she laughed.
“A holiday sounds good!”
Their winning System 8 entry was purchased at Ropes Crossing Newsagency, Shop 6, Ropes Central Village, 8 Central Place, Ropes Crossing.
Ropes Crossing Newsagency owner Urvashi Patel said it was a wonderful feeling to sell a winning Weekday Windfall ticket.
“We are a new owner of this newsagency since last June and this is our first division winning entry since taking over ownership,” she said.
“In 2023, the store sold a division one winning entry in Powerball so we’re excited to continue the winning streak.
“Our heartly congratulations to our customer. We hope this money changes your life in the best way possible.”
The winning numbers in Weekday Windfall draw 4692 on Monday 20 April 2026 were 18, 34, 30, 40, 21 and 13, while the supplementary numbers were 24 and 39.
