Two weeks after the draw, officials from The Lott are still eagerly waiting to hear from Bendigo’s mystery $20 million Oz Lotto winner – demanding the question, where are they and why haven’t they claimed their prize?

The elusive Victorian player held the only division one winning entry nationally in Oz Lotto draw 1429 on Tuesday 6 July 2021. They take home a division one prize of $20 million.

The division one winning entry was unregistered, so the identity of the multi-millionaire remains a mystery and The Lott officials must wait for them to come forward to claim their prize.

In Victoria, division one winners have six months to claim their prize directly from Tatts.  After this time, the prize can be claimed indefinitely from the Victorian State Revenue Office.

The winning entry was purchased at Golden Square Newsagency, 303 High Street, Golden Square.

Golden Square Newsagency owner Bill Roberts said his team was still waiting to hear from the winner.

“We’re anxious to unite this winner with their prize,” he said.

“We’ve been encouraging all of our players to check the bottoms of their handbags, car glove boxes, fridges, or absolutely anywhere they may have left their ticket.

“Hopefully, this news has spread wide and far, and our winner discovers this exciting news soon.

“It’d be nice for our winner to enjoy their multi-million-dollar win! Fingers crossed they check the winning ticket soon.”

The Lott spokesperson Ally Ramsamy said she urged anyone who purchased an entry in a recent Oz Lotto draw to check their tickets now.

“We can’t wait to confirm this exciting news with our mystery winner. We just want to bring this mystery to an end,” she shared.

“Just imagine how $20 million might change your life, and the lives of your nearest and dearest!

“There are 20 million reasons why all players in Bendigo who had an entry in a recent Oz Lotto draw should check their ticket.

“We’re in the business of paying prizes, so we’re holding out hope of uniting this winner with their prize as soon as possible.

“On the two week milestone, we’re making a public appeal to share the news of the unclaimed prize with your family and friends, and on social media in the hope the winner will be found.

“If you discover you’re holding the division one winning entry, hold on tight to that ticket and phone 131 868 as soon as possible so that we can start the prize claim process!”

The Lott reminds players of the importance of registering their tickets to a player card so all of their prizes are secure and they can be contacted directly with the good news of a big win.

The winning numbers in Oz Lotto draw 1429 on Wednesday 7 July 2021 were 42, 32, 21, 19, 44, 25 and 33, while the supplementary numbers were 7 and 18.
