Five days on from the draw, Tatts officials are yet to hear the winning scream of delight from one mystery Mowbray resident or visitor who won division one in last Saturday’s TattsLotto draw.

The unregistered entry, bought in the city of Launceston, was one of the nine division one winning entries across Australia in TattsLotto draw 3887 on 20 October 2018, with each winning entry taking home a prize of $443,884.30.

The winning entry is not registered to a Tatts Card so Tatts officials have no way of contacting the winner to break the life-changing news and have to wait until the ticketholder makes contact to claim their prize.

The winning ticket was purchased from Mowbray newsXpress and Lotto, Shop 15, 262 Invermay Road, Mowbray.

Mowbray newsXpress and Lotto store owner Kate Dolley said she was patiently waiting to see if the division one winner popped into her outlet.

“We haven’t heard anything yet!” she revealed.

“We have been encouraging all of our players to check their tickets and we’re hoping one of them will make the life-changing discovery but it seems as though our winner is still out there.

“We hope they come forward soon so they can enjoy their win!”

Tatts spokesperson Bronwyn Spencer said the mystery winner could spend their weekend planning their next holiday, going to open houses or test-driving new cars, if only they knew they had won.

“Imagine being over $443,000 richer for nearly a week and not knowing it? Think of all the plans you could have made knowing you hold that winning ticket!” she exclaimed.

“Who knows, perhaps they will pop into the outlet this week to put an entry on for this Saturday’s TattsLotto $20 million Superdraw only to walk out hundreds of thousands of dollars richer after discovering they are already a division one winner!

“That’s why we are encouraging everyone who purchased an entry into last Saturday’s draw to check their entries as soon as possible!”

Ms Spencer also reminded players of the importance of registering their tickets to Tatts Card.

“It is really important that you register your entries so that all of your prizes are secure and we can contact you directly with the good news in the case of a win!” she said.

Ms Spencer also revealed that mystery Mowbray winner wasn’t the only Tasmanian entry to be timid in coming forward to claim their prize.

“The last time a Tasmanian won division one, the elusive winner took five days to come forward to claim their $30 million Powerball prize,” she said.

“Let’s hope five days is the magic number and we hear from our winner soon!”
