A Sunshine woman in her 20s admitted there was “a lot of laughing and crying” last night when she discovered she won $100,000 in yesterday’s Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw.
The Victorian player won the guaranteed 1st Prize of $100,000 in Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw 10382, drawn Monday 25 May 2020.
This morning, an official from the Lott called the young woman, who was still reeling from her discovery.
“I only just found out late last night,” she laughed.
“I logged into my account and saw the prize. I was very happy.
“I think I started screaming ‘oh my god’. There was a lot of laughing and crying.
“I called my mum straight away to tell her. She was really happy for me too.
“I will definitely have to do some celebrating once the money is in my account. I will probably have a nice dinner and get a fancy bottle of champagne.
“It’s so funny because I only recently started playing Lucky Lotteries! So to have a win like this is incredible.”
When asked how she planned to enjoy her windfall, the Melbourne woman said she wanted to enjoy it for a long time to come.
“Most of it I want to save for the future,” she admitted.
“I would love to go on a big overseas holiday when we finally can again, but the rest I want to save and invest.”
The happy woman, who wishes to remain anonymous, purchased her winning entry of two random numbers online at thelott.com – Australia’s official lotteries.
The Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot prize is now $3.16 million for draw 1486 while the Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot is now $6.74 million for draw 10383.
