More than three weeks after the draw, a Kyneton woman has today come forward to claim her $1 million TattsLotto win, with plans to book a round-the-world trip when she can.

The Victorian held one of the five division one winning entries in TattsLotto draw 4193, drawn Saturday 25 September 2021 – each pocketed $1,303,213.75.

So far in 2021, there have been 12 division one wins in the Central Highlands and Goldfields regions collectively worth more than $35.31 million.

Speaking with an official from The Lott this afternoon, the jubilant woman said she was struggling to come down from cloud nine after making the exciting discovery on the weekend.

“I never in a million years thought I would win one million dollars,” she giggled.

“It was only when my family checked a few of my tickets for me that I found out I was a millionaire.

“I felt complete surprise and delight. It is so lovely!

“I was so excited! I called up my family to share the news with them. They were so happy for me!

“They all came over and we did a bit of celebrating that night. We mainly talked about how it will help us all and what we could do with it. It was very fun imagining all of the possibilities!

“It will allow us all to really live life to the fullest with no real financial pressures.

“It’s life-changing for us!”

When asked how she planned to enjoy her windfall, the Victorian winner thought of her family first.

“Most of this prize will be shared with my family. It’s the best feeling to be able to help them,” she explained.

“We would love to go on lots of holidays as well. We want to see as much of the world as we can!

“For the moment, we will try to do some exploring around Australia, but it will be great when we can start planning some overseas trips.”

The winning entry was purchased at Collins Authorised News & Lotto, 95 Mollison Street, Kyneton.

Collins Authorised News & Lotto owner Kevin Chen said he was glad to hear his mystery division one winner had finally claimed their million-dollar win.

“We were so excited when we’d heard we’d sold a division one winning entry, and we are even happier to know the prize has now been claimed by a local,” he shared.

“This was the first division one winning entry we’ve sold since I took ownership four years ago, so it’s been monumental for us!

“We’d been sharing the news with all of our customers in the hopes our winner would come forward, and now they have, which is amazing!

“It’s so great to know we have really made someone’s dream come true, because that’s our goal.

“We are very proud, and we wish all of our customers and other retailers the best and hope they also experience a division one win.

“Congratulations to our winner! We are celebrating alongside you and couldn’t be happier for you.”
