With the prize claim period set to expire next week on a $1 million Saturday X Lotto ticket purchased from Naracoorte in South Australia, players are being urged to check their tickets now!

The mystery winner held a division one winning entry in Saturday X Lotto draw 4069, drawn 18 July 2020. They scored a prize of $1,053,905.78.

As this ticket was not registered to an Easiplay Club card or online account, The Lott officials have no way of contacting the winner and must wait for them to come forward to claim their prize.

In South Australia, division one winners have 12 months to claim their prize directly from SA Lotteries. After this deadline, there is a process to claim prize money from the Lotteries Commission of South Australia, which incurs a cost.

The winning entry was purchased at newsXpress Naracoorte, 118 Smith Street, Naracoorte.

While many people were checking their tickets in hopes they were the winner, newsXpress Naracoorte owner Selina Southern said they’re yet to hear from the person holding the division one winning ticket.

“We still have people coming in daily checking their old tickets, hoping they’re our mystery millionaire,” she shared.

“Unfortunately, we haven’t been able to unite our winner with their prize yet -  but, we’re still very hopeful!

“We really hope they discover this exciting news soon. I can imagine a million-dollar prize isn’t something anyone would like to miss out on.”

The Lott spokesperson Ally Ramsamy explained she was still hoping the mystery winner would finally come forward and claim their prize.

“We’re so curious to know who our mystery $1 million winner is and why it has taken them so long to come forward to claim their prize,” she shared.

“They could be walking around with the $1 million winning ticket in their wallet, their car glovebox or it could be buried at the bottom of a draw.

“We desperately want to bring this mystery to an end, so we are asking everyone to check their tickets, to encourage their friends and family to check theirs too and to share the news of the unclaimed prize on social media.

“We’re in the business of paying prizes, so we just hope the winner who purchased their entry from newsXpress Naracoorte comes forward soon so we can unite them with their life-changing prize.

“Players can check their tickets at any licenced lottery outlet, online at thelott.com or via The Lott app.

“If you realise you’re the division one winner we’re looking for, hold on tight to that ticket and give us a call immediately on 131 868 to confirm the win and start the prize claim process.”

Ms Ramsamy said the mystery winner was a great reminder to all players purchasing tickets to register their entry to a player card or online account.

“This ensures all prizes are secure and players can be contacted in the instance of a division one win,” she said.

The winning numbers in Saturday X Lotto draw 4069 on Saturday 18 July 2020 were 35, 21, 2, 43, 18 and 22, while the supplementary numbers were 10 and 37.

Across Australia, there were five division one winning entries in Saturday X Lotto draw 4069 – two each from South Australia and Western Australia, and one from Victoria.

The Lott’s division one winning tally has now reached 228 so far this calendar year, including 25 won by SA Lotteries customers.

In 2020, Monday & Wednesday Lotto created 93 millionaires across Australia.

During this time, there were 101 division one winning Monday & Wednesday Lotto entries across Australia, which collectively won $100 million.
