A Tingalpa man is looking forward to revamping his house into a home after discovering he scored more than $100,000 in a Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw.
The happy Brisbane resident held the 1st Prize winning entry of $100,000 in Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw 10882, drawn Friday 11 October 2024.
In addition to his $100,000 bounty, the winning man scored a consolation prize of $2,000, boosting his total lottery loot to $102,000.
“I just checked my ticket!” he said when an official from The Lott called to confirm his prize.
“I thought I was reading it wrong. I thought it might have been a mistake.
“Thank you so much! It’s going to come in very handy.
“I’ve been thinking about doing some house alterations and now I can fully commit.
“I’ll share the news with family.
“This is great. I’ve been playing for over 20 years.
“Thank you again. I need to sit down now! I’ll be having a nice quiet one in.”
The winning entry of 10 consecutive numbers was purchased on The Lott website – the official home of Australia’s lotteries.
