A Tingira Heights man admits he currently feels like he’s living in a dream after scratching away at an Instant Scratch-Its ticket and bagging a $100,000 top prize win.
The top prize-winning $5 Cash Celebrations Instant Scratch-Its ticket was purchased at Nextra Mt Hutton Newsagency, Shop 46/47, Lake Macquarie Square, 46 Wilsons Road, Mount Hutton.
“This is a dream come true, put it that way mate!” the winning man laughed when an official from The Lott called to confirm the win.
“I’m still in shock mode!
“Buying an Instant Scratch-Its ticket is a bit of a weekly ritual for me and my wife and it’s one that has spanned decades.
“We always thought that one day one of us would win, and lo and behold, it finally happened!
“It really is unbelievable.
“We’re not absolutely sure what to do yet, but this win is going to give us a sense of security moving forward.
“We might even head off on a holiday to New Zealand later in the year – first class all the way!
“Then who knows, the world is our oyster.
