A Toowoomba mum became so emotional after learning she’d won $1 million in last night’s Weekday Windfall draw that she had to end her call with lottery officials and call them back once she’d composed herself.
The Darling Downs resident held the only division one winning entry nationally in Weekday Windfall draw 4618, drawn Wednesday 29 October 2025. She looks forward to a neat $1 million.
So far in 2025, there have been eight major lottery wins in the Darling Downs and Southwest region that have collectively taken home more than $8.15 million in prize money.
The winning woman was completely oblivious to becoming an overnight millionaire until an official from The Lott surprised and delighted her this morning.
“Are you serious? Is this a joke?!” she cried.
“I think I’ve got something in my eye! I’m starting to cry!
“My husband just pulled a face because I can’t stop crying and he’s confused.
“Is this for real? I’m shaking all over the place! I think I might have to call you back!”
After the down-to-earth mum finally calmed down from the initial shock and excitement, she shared she had a few plans on how to put her million-dollar prize to good use.
“This will help my family so much,” she shared.
“I can pay off our mortgage, too!
“Thank you so much. I’m very thankful.”
Her winning marked 4-game entry was purchased at Nextra Queen St Mall, Shop G01 60 Queen Street, Brisbane.
Nextra Queen St Mall manager Jordan Conder said he and his team were over the moon to have sold their first division one winning entry to a deserving family.

The winning numbers in Weekday Windfall draw 4618 on Wednesday 29 October 2025 were 22, 35, 5, 20, 7 and 10, while the supplementary numbers were 27 and 45.
Across Australia, there was one division one winning entry in Weekday Windfall draw 4618 – the one in Queensland.
The Lott’s division one winning tally has now reached 356 so far in 2025, including 85 won by Golden Casket customers.
In FY25, Weekday Windfall created 94 millionaires across Australia.
