Despite the rain, Brisbane shone on the weekend as two residents each scored $1.25 million in the weekend’s Saturday Gold Lotto draw.
The Queenslanders held some of the 16 division one winning entries nationally in Saturday Gold Lotto draw 4651, drawn Saturday 14 February 2026. Each division one winning entry pocketed $1.25 million.
Late Mum’s numbers deliver $1.25 million prize to Morningside woman
A Morningside woman who continued to play her late Mum’s Gold Lotto numbers has been floored by the revelation they’ve scored her a $1.25 million prize.
“I was just sitting at the computer paying off some bills when I saw your message. At first, I thought I was a scam,” she said.
“But then I checked my ticket. Oh my god! I’m just shocked.
“I’m still just sitting here thinking, ‘Is this real?’.
“I looked at the ticket and thought, ’That must be a mistake. They’ll make me pay that back!’.
“These are my Mum’s Lotto numbers. She passed away a number of years ago, but I decided to keep playing them. Some of the numbers are family birthdates.
“This really helps my family. It means we can breathe.
“I think I’ll just wander around the house in a daze for the rest of the day.
“This is the best call I’ve ever had.”
The woman’s winning marked System 7 entry was purchased on The Lott website – the official home of Australia’s lotteries.
Aspley couple to start house hunting with $1.25 million Gold Lotto win
An Aspley couple has confessed they’ve barely slept a wink since discovering their $1.25 million Gold Lotto win in the early hours of Sunday morning.
“We came home late Saturday night, and I was just in the lounge room early Sunday morning when I thought I’d check my ticket,” the winning man explained.
“I could see all the numbers were red on one line of my ticket. I’d marked the first three lines of my ticket with our combined family birthdates.
“Incredible! We had to have a drink to calm our nerves!
“We’re first home buyers and have been house hunting for a while. Now we don’t have to worry about a mortgage at all!
“It’s amazing timing. It’s just changed our lives.
“It’s all starting to hit home now.”
The couple’s winning marked 18-game entry was purchased via The Lott app – the official home of Australia’s lotteries.
The winning numbers in Saturday Gold Lotto draw 4651 on 14 February 2026 were 12, 7, 3, 6, 14 and 22, while the supplementary numbers were 42 and 20.
Across Australia, there were 16 division one winning entries in Saturday Gold Lotto draw 4651 – six in New South Wales, three in Western Australia, two each in Queensland, Victoria and South Australia, and one in the ACT.
