After a Mount Waverly man discovered he’d won $1.8 million in the weekend’s TattsLotto draw, his head was spinning, his stomach was in knots, and he could barely stand up.
“I can’t believe I’m a millionaire! This is very good. It’s amazing,” he giggled when speaking with an official from The Lott.
“I only found out yesterday afternoon. I logged into The Lott app to see how my ticket did in the TattsLotto draw.
“I thought it was some joke or a mistake. I couldn’t believe it!
“My head was spinning. My stomach was in knots. I almost fell over! It was a shock.
“It felt too good to be true. I’d been dreaming of that moment for years.
“My friends came over last night with a bottle of wine to celebrate, and I started making some plans for my win.
“It’s a massive win for me. I’m very excited. It’s going to change everything!
“I’ll use this prize to buy myself a car, and I’d love to go to Europe shortly.
“I’ll save the rest for my future retirement. I might even change jobs until then! Who knows?
“It’s allowing me to re-evaluate my life completely. It’s beautiful.”
The winner purchased his 36-game QuickPick entry online at thelott.com – the official home of Australia’s lotteries.
