Two Queenslanders had a winning weekend, with each scoring more than $1.2 million in Saturday Gold Lotto, but they may have yet to discover their good fortune.
The elusive players from Townsville and the Gold Coast each held one of the four division one winning entries in Saturday Gold Lotto draw 4403 on Saturday 30 September 2023. Each entry took home a $1,266,906.25 division one prize.
However, as the winning entries were not registered to a player card, officials from The Lott have no way of contacting the ticketholders and must wait for them to check their tickets.
One of the winning entries was purchased at The Lucky Charm Townsville, Shop 1, Stockland Plaza, 310 Ross River Road, Townsville.
The Lucky Charm Townsville owners Morris and Annette Peluchetti said they were thrilled to see another division one win land in their outlet.
“We’re very excited as we haven’t had a division one winner for some time – give or take about eight years!” Morris said.
“This win will make it our sixth division one win.
“All the customers have been very happy for our mystery winner. We hope they discover their prize soon so they can enjoy the win and we hope it makes life much easier for them.”
The other division one winning entry was purchased at Paperboxx Robina, Shop 2012, Level 2, Robina Town Centre, 19 Robina Town Centre Drive, Robina Town Centre.
Paperboxx Robina team leader Harmony Rankin said she was thrilled to see the outlet score its first division one win.
“We couldn't believe it! We've sold a few division two winning tickets – including one in last Saturday's draw – but never a division one!” she said.
“Our regular customers who come in every week are going to be so excited to see that we've finally sold the big one! They've been saying they want to see a division one plaque up on our wall for a long time!
“We are so excited for the lucky customer and we hope it went to someone who needed it and that it helps them out!”
The Lott spokesperson Matt Hart said he hoped Queensland’s latest division one winners checked their tickets soon.
“These two winners are likely oblivious they each became millionaires over the long weekend,” he said.
“We’re urging anyone who purchased a Saturday Gold Lotto ticket in Townsville or on the Gold Coast to check their tickets today!
“How exciting would it be to discover you’ve won more than a million dollars? It would be an unforgettable moment!

The winning numbers in Saturday Gold Lotto draw 4403 on 30 September 2023 were 20, 45, 43, 27, 6 and 29, while the supplementary numbers were 36 and 9.
Across Australia, there were four division one winning entries in Saturday Gold Lotto draw 4403 – two each in Queensland and one each in New South Wales and Western Australia.
