Dandenong North player becomes overnight multi-millionaire thanks to TattsLotto win!
A Dandenong North shopper has achieved multi-millionaire status thanks to a division one win in the weekend’s TattsLotto draw.
However, how they plan to spend their windfall will forever be a mystery as they have chosen to remain completely anonymous and celebrate in private.
The winning entry was purchased at Brady Road Family Supermarket, 38-44 Brady Road, Dandenong North.
Brady Road Family Supermarket owner Jouhaina Melrose said the team was over the moon to have sold another division one winning entry.
“This is our third division one win – the last one was about four years ago so it’s great news to have another one,” he said.
“When we first heard we’d sold it we were super stoked. We’re so happy for our winner, whoever they might be.
“We would love to congratulate the winner in person. It’s a great time of year to win division one!”
The Lott spokesperson Ally Ramsamy said discovering the life-changing win was sure to put a smile on the mystery winner’s face.
“While we may never know how this winner plans to enjoy their prize, we have no doubt they are walking around today grinning from ear to ear after discovering their win,” she said.
“Other winners tell us they use their windfall to help their families, buy a new house, upgrade their home with renovations or splurge a new car.
“However our winner chooses to use their prize, we hope they enjoy the winning feeling as long as they can.”
Check your tickets, Beaumaris: Search underway for mystery TattsLotto winner!
The search has begun for a mystery Beaumaris player who scored $2 million in the weekend’s TattsLotto draw but has yet to come forward to claim their prize.
The winning entry is unregistered, which means officials from The Lott have no way of contacting the winner to break the life-changing news. Instead, they’re waiting for the ticketholder to come forward to claim their prize.
In Victoria, division one winners have six months to claim their prize directly from Tatts. After this time, the prize can be claimed from the state government.
The winning entry was purchased at Beaumaris News Lotto & Gifts, 2 South Concourse, Beaumaris.
This is the second division one win for Beaumaris News Lotto & Gifts this month.
Beaumaris News Lotto & Gifts team said they hoped their latest division one winner checked their ticket soon.
“I thought it was a mistake when I first heard we’d sold a division one win in the weekend’s draw. We only sold another one two weeks ago, so it’s insane,” she shared.
“We have been sharing the news with all of our customers ever since we found out. We are in a fantastic community with awesome customers, and they are just as excited as we are.
“There’s been about ten division one winning tickets sold in this outlet, and we can’t wait for the next one.
“Hopefully, the winner comes in to check their ticket soon. We are so excited for them and can’t wait until they can begin to enjoy it.”
The Lott spokesperson Ally Ramsamy said she was more eager than ever to unite the player with their prize.
“It’s likely this winner has been going about their week as normal with no idea they’ve won $2 million in the weekend’s draw!” she said.
“We’re urging all players who purchased a TattsLotto ticket from Beaumaris News Lotto & Gifts to check their tickets today.
“Make sure you check your ticket, which could be in your wallet, handbag, fridge door or car glovebox, because the winner could be you and you could be planning what to do with your prize too!
“If you discover you are holding the winning ticket, contact The Lott on 131 868 to begin the process of claiming your prize.”
