A southern Sydney resident or visitor is the rightful owner of Australia’s largest unclaimed lottery prize, but they have yet to discover and collect their $3.88 million windfall.

An unregistered entry in Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw 10234, drawn on Monday 2 July 2018, won the $3.88 million Jackpot prize.

Two weeks after the draw, the winning ticketholder has yet to claim the multi-million-dollar prize, which is currently Australia’s largest unclaimed lottery prize.

The winning entry was not registered to a Players Club Card so NSW Lotteries officials have no way of contacting the winner with the life-changing news.

The winning ticket was purchased at Riverwood Newsagency, 335 Belmore Road, Riverwood.

Riverwood Newsagency owner John Zhang said he was hoping the winner would be united with the massive prize soon.

“We’re thrilled to have sold the winning Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot ticket – it’s the fifth major win for my store,” he said.

“We’ve had lots of people coming in to check their tickets during the past few weeks, but no winner yet.

“We hope they come forward soon.”

NSW Lotteries spokesperson Matt Hart said he was eager to hear the scream of delight from the Lucky Lotteries multi-millionaire.

“Someone out there is a multi-millionaire and they don’t know it yet,” he said.

“Imagine what you could have been doing during the past two weeks knowing your bank balance has ballooned by $3.88 million. It’s fair to say this windfall is life-changing.

“If you live in Riverwood or were just passing through southern Sydney and bought a Lucky Lotteries entry from Riverwood, drop everything and check your ticket.

“If you discover you’re holding the winning ticket, hold on tight to it and phone 131 868 as soon as possible so that we can start the prize claim process.

“While we hunt for this mystery winner, it’s a great reminder to register your entries to a player card so your prizes are secure and we can contact you directly with the good news should you win!”

Last financial year, 113 Lucky Lotteries 1st Prize and Jackpot winning entries across the Lott’s jurisdictions won more than $23.57 million.  During this time, the biggest individual jackpot prize was won by a young Inner-West Sydney man, who took home $6.87 million.

The Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot prize is now $15.4 million for draw 1111, while the Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot is now $760,000 for draw 10237.

NSW Lotteries customers can purchase a single ticket number into the Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot for $2.20 and the Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot for $5.50. For your chance to make today your ‘Lucky’ day, why not get your paws on a Lucky Lotteries ticket at your local NSW Lotteries outlet or online.
