Working from home on a Monday morning just got a whole lot more exciting for a Vaucluse woman who picked up the phone to the news she’s suddenly a Lotto millionaire.
The Sydney player held one of the five division one winning entries in Saturday Lotto draw 4185, drawn Saturday 28 August 2021 and takes home a division one prize of $1,247,527.15.
When an official from The Lott contacted the woman this morning, she had no idea she was one of the weekend’s division one winners.
“Are you kidding me?” she began to question.
“Oh my god. That’s unbelievable!
“I think I’m going to burst into tears. Oh my god.
“Thank you so much.
“I’m shaking. I can’t believe that.
“Wow. It doesn’t feel real. I never win anything!
“I am so happy. This is such amazing news!”
With more than $1 million about to hit her bank account, she had no doubt the prize would be life-changing in a big way.
“Oh gosh, I’m not sure. I am going to have to think about it,” she said.
“I will probably buy some property. I have never been able to afford to do that.
“It’s so exciting. Maybe I won’t have to work anymore!
“This is incredible. Absolutely fantastic!”
Her life-changing 12-game QuickPick was purchased online at thelott.com – Australia’s official lotteries.
The winning numbers in Saturday Lotto draw 4185 on 28 August 2021 were 17, 30, 22, 23, 19 and 21, while the supplementary numbers were 43 and 32.
Across Australia, there were five division one winning entries in Saturday Lotto draw 4185 – two each in New South Wales and Queensland, and one in Victoria.
