A Victoria Point man is celebrating today after discovering he won $100,000 in the latest Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw, likening it to receiving a whole year’s wage in one go.
The happy winner won the guaranteed 1st Prize of $100,000 in Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw 10431, drawn Friday 18 December 2020.
Speaking with an official from The Lott this morning, the Redlands resident explained he’d initially thought his win was a scam.
“I am very well!” he said.

“I was a bit suss at first when I saw the email about the win. I thought ‘Is this a scam? What is going on?’.
“And then I thought maybe it was a mate pulling a prank on me.
“It’s funny, because I have been walking around the house this morning thinking to myself ‘God I wish I really did win’.
“But I started thinking it might be genuine. I had been waiting for a spare moment to call you.
“I am feeling fairly numb at the moment now you’ve confirmed this is real!
“You’re a Christmas angel!
“I have won small prizes over the years, but nothing like this. This is incredible.
“What a great win right before Christmas!
“It feels incredible to win! You know, most people would make about $100,000 in a year and I have just won it in a day!
“I am going to be pinching myself all day.”
When asked how he planned to enjoy his windfall, the stoked bloke thought of his family first.
“I am going to share it with my family. I want to help set them up,” he said.
“Honestly, I have everything I need. All I will do for myself is have a cold beer to celebrate!”
The thrilled winner, who wishes to remain anonymous, purchased his winning entry of two random numbers online at thelott.com – Australia’s official lotteries.
