Victorious Victorians snare four TattsLotto prizes

Four Victorians have had a weekend to remember after each scored more than $400,000 in the weekend’s TattsLotto draw.

Each held one of the 13 division one winning entries nationally in TattsLotto draw 4509, drawn Saturday 5 October 2024. Each division one winning entry scored $401,209.07.

St Leonards woman’s Saturday night movie interrupted by TattsLotto revelation

A St Leonards woman had her Saturday night movie interrupted by the revelation she won $400,000 in the weekend’s TattsLotto draw.

“We were just watching the Saturday night movie, and the TattsLotto numbers came up on the screen,” she explained when speaking to an official from The Lott.

“We’ve been playing those numbers for a long time. They’re a mix of our family birthdays and favourite football players’ numbers.

“I thought I recognised about five of them and said, ‘I think they’re our numbers’.

“Then I checked the ticket about 50 times!

“It will certainly help us out – it will help square the mortgage away. It’s a good amount to win. Such great news.

“Now that I know it’s real, I don’t have to keep checking the ticket!”

The woman purchased her winning marked System 8 entry at St Leonards News, Shops 1 & 2, 1376 Murradoc Road, St Leonards.

St Leonards News owner Dale Hancock said he was excited to see a TattsLotto win land in his small community.

Richmond man revels in TattsLotto good fortune

A Richmond man has confessed he’s feeling like the world’s luckiest man after winning division one in the weekend’s TattsLotto draw.

“I can think of 400,000 reasons why I’m good today,” he exclaimed when speaking to an official from The Lott.

“I discovered the win late Saturday night. I was watching something, and I thought I’d check my numbers.

“I thought, ‘they look familiar’.

“I’ve been playing the same numbers for years, and they’re a mix of family birthdates and my lucky number 13!I’ve always liked the number 13 – baker’s dozen!

“I’ve always felt lucky – especially with my family – and now even more so.

A Narre Warren woman has burst into tears of joy upon discovering her TattsLotto win.

“Is it really true?” she questioned when an official from The Lott called to confirm her prize.

“I can’t believe this. I’m crying, but they’re happy tears.

“The last few years have been difficult, but this is just amazing.

“I’ve been playing the same numbers for years. They’re all family birthdates.

“I can get a new car and help my family. I’m so happy!”

The woman’s marked System 7 entry was purchased at Narre Warren Newsagency & Lotto, 1/34 Webb Street, Narre Warren.

Mystery Braybrook player yet to discover their TattsLotto fortune

One of Victoria’s winners may have yet to realise their good fortune, prompting lottery officials to encourage the region’s players to check their TattsLotto tickets.

The winning entry was purchased at Braybrook News & Lotto, 127 South Road, Braybrook.

The Lott spokesperson Matt Hart said he hoped Melbourne’s mystery division one winner checked their ticket and came forward soon.

“Our elusive winner is likely oblivious to the fact they won more than $400,000 in the weekend’s TattsLotto draw,” he said.

“We’re encouraging anyone who purchased a TattsLotto ticket from Braybrook News & Lotto to check their tickets today!

The winning numbers in TattsLotto draw 4509 on 5 October 2024 were 13, 30,18, 24, 27 and 15, while the supplementary numbers were 41 and 26.

Across Australia, there were 13 division one winning entries in TattsLotto draw 4509 – four each in Queensland and Victoria, two in New South Wales, and one each in Tasmania, South Australia and Western Australia.
