A Wauchope man has confessed to feeling like the star of his own TV drama and is ready to rev up and sparkle after bagging more than $740,000 in a recent Lotto Strike draw.
The New South Wales resident held the only division one winning entry nationally in Lotto Strike draw 5674, drawn Friday 4 July 2025. He scored a total prize of $741,456.15.
The ecstatic winner was still floating on cloud nine when an official from The Lott called to confirm his bounty.
“Wow. I can finally stop pinching myself now!” he laughed.
“It doesn’t feel real. I’ve been feeling like I’m in a dream or I’m a character in a TV show.
“I’m so excited. I’ve got tingles all over, and I seriously can’t stop smiling.
“My dad has always said, ‘You got to be in it to win it.’. I’ve been playing since I was old enough to play.
“I can’t stop smiling. I’m just so happy.”
When asked how he planned to use his newfound fortune, the winning man already had some thrilling ideas in mind.
“I’ll be able to buy my lady some diamond earrings, and I’d love to get a motorcycle. I can also use it towards my house,” he said
“Thank you very much. Now that it’s confirmed, I’ll be able to finally get some sleep.”
His winning 18-game entry was purchased via The Lott app – the official home of Australia’s lotteries.
The winning numbers in Lotto Strike draw 5674 on Monday 7 July 2025 were 33, 23, 14 and 21.
