A Bentleigh couple have had their lives changed overnight after they scored a sensational $8 million in last night’s Oz Lotto draw.
The Melburnians held the only division one winning entry nationally in Oz Lotto draw 1665, drawn Tuesday 13 January 2026. They look forward to $8 million.
The Victorians were completely oblivious to becoming newly-crowned multi-millionaires until an official from The Lott reached out to them earlier this morning.
“Are you kidding? Oh my god! Oh my god!” the winning husband joyfully yelled.
“No! That’s insane! Oh my gosh! My head is spinning around!
“We can’t believe it. My wife is currently in the background overhearing the call too.
“It was only yesterday that I decided to put an Oz Lotto ticket on out of the blue. I’ve always had a feeling that I would win something.
“We’re pinching ourselves.”
With millions coming their way, the delighted parents’ top priority was to take care of their nearest and dearest.
“The win helps our kids and our family - $8 million will go a long way!” he shared.
“I might quit work. I’m not sure!
“I think for now, we need to go for a walk outside and digest the win.
“Thank you so much.”
His winning 18-game QuickPick entry was purchased via The Lott app – the official home of Australia’s lotteries.
The winning numbers in Oz Lotto draw 1665 on Tuesday 13 January 2026 were 17, 35, 23, 38, 39, 42 and 31, while the supplementary numbers were 7, 24 and 29.
Across Australia, there was one division one winning entry in Oz Lotto draw 1665 – the one in Victoria.
