A West Footscray man confessed he 'freaked out' when he checked his TattsLotto ticket and realised he held all six winning numbers needed to score a division one prize worth over $549,000.

The Melbourne man held one of the 11 division one winning entries nationally in TattsLotto draw 4105, drawn Saturday 21 November 2020. Each entry takes home a division one prize of $549,405.38.

As well as winning the coveted division one prize, the thrilled winner also scored division two 6 times, division three 12 times, division four 45 times, division five 20 times and division six 20 times, bolstering his total prize to $596,090.98.

Sharing his excitement with an official from The Lott this morning, the winner recounted the moment he discovered his life-changing win.

"Beautiful! Thank you! That's a life-changing amount of money!" he exclaimed.

"I play every week using the same numbers. They are numbers I chose at random a few years ago, but I've always been lucky with them. They've won me smaller amounts like $100 or $200.

"I was just at home on Saturday night watching TV when I remembered to check my ticket. Since I'd missed the draw, I asked my daughter to check the numbers on the internet for me.

"She texted me and said 'looks good', and when I checked my ticket, I couldn't believe it.

"Oh my god! I freaked out when I saw they were my numbers. It was incredible!

"The next day I went to a friend’s place, and we celebrated with some kebabs and a couple of beers."

When asked how he planned to enjoy his life-changing win, the generous dad said he would help his daughter onto the property ladder.

"It has come at the right time!" he declared.

"My daughter has been saving hard to get a deposit for a house, and now I'll finally be able to help her out.

"I'll buy myself a new car and maybe use some for another house deposit for an investment property.

"I won't be retiring soon though, as I've got a good job that I enjoy!"

The regular player, who wishes to remain anonymous, purchased his marked System 9 entry at Cairnlea News & Lotto, Shop 15, Cairnlea Shopping Centre, 100 Furlong Road, Cairnlea.
