Western Sydney players dominated the weekend’s Saturday Lotto draw with two division one wins landing in the region.

The New South Wales entries were two of the nine division one winning entires in Saturday Lotto draw 3969 on Saturday 3 August 2019, with each entry taking home a division one prize of $446,898.09.

However, how the winners plan to spend their Saturday Lotto prizes will forever be a mystery as they have both chosen to remain completely anonymous and celebrate in private.

The weekend’s Saturday Lotto division one winning entries were sold at Werrington County Newsagency, Shop 9A Werrington Shopping Village, 511 Dunheved Road, Werrington and Mitchum News, Shop 27 Dutton Lane Shoppoint Centre, 2 Dutton Lane, Cabramatta.

Werrington County Newsagency owner Darren Nguyen said it was the third division one winning entry the store had sold.

“We’re incredibly excited and happy for our customer and we hope this winning trend continues for us and our loyal regulars,” he said.

Mitchum News owner Anne Huang said she froze when she discovered her outlet had sold one of the division one winning entries.

“We love to see the excited faces of all our customers when they search for their tickets after hearing we’ve sold a division one winning entry,” she said.

“On Sunday morning our customers were just as thrilled as we were.

“Warmest congratulations to our division one winner. We hope that this is their lucky year!”

NSW Lotteries spokesperson Lauren Cooney said Lotto’s latest division one winners were almost certain to be planning some celebrations.

“Division one winnners often tell us it takes a little while before they truly believe they’ve won the big one. Having now officially confirmed their wins, our Western Sydney winners can now happily turn their minds to how they might use their windfalls,” he said.

“From new homes to holidays, many Lotto winners relish the opportunity to finally make some long-held dreams a reality. They also tell us they love sharing their prize with their nearest and dearest.

“Some winners have taken their family on a cruise, while others have shouted their best mate a new ute. Who knows, perhaps our Western Sydney winners have similar plans in mind.

“We’ll be keen to see if Western Sydney’s winning streak continues!”
