A Shepparton man has banished his Monday blues before heading to work this morning after receiving a phone call from lottery officials revealing his life-enhancing $460,000 TattsLotto win.
The Northern Victorian held one of the 12 division one winning entries in TattsLotto draw 4295, drawn Saturday 17 September 2022 and takes home a total division one prize of $467,245.12.
This morning an official from The Lott reached out to the gleeful man who was completely oblivious to his bounty.
“Wow, goodness gracious!” he cheered.
“I’m stunned. I haven’t checked my tickets!
“That’s unbelievable! What a way to start my new week, and on a Monday too.
“I’ve chosen to play this set of random numbers for a couple of months now. It’s a regular entry that I have on repeat.
“I’m not too sure why I chose these numbers in the first place, but they’ve obviously worked in my favour!
“You’ve made my day, month, or year – whatever you want to call it!”
With more than $460,000 about to boost his bank account, the winner had a couple of ideas in mind for his prize.
“I’m sure my plans will change over time, but right now, I’d love to book an overseas holiday,” he exclaimed.
“I’ll look at saving some for the future too!
“How exciting.”
His winning System 10 entry was purchased online at thelott.com – the official home of Australia’s lotteries.
The winning numbers in TattsLotto draw 4295 on 17 September 2022 were 4, 25, 23, 7, 21, 9, while the supplementary numbers were 6 and 11.
Across Australia, there were 12 division one winning entries in TattsLotto draw 4295 – five in Victoria, four in Queensland, two in New South Wales and one in Tasmania.
The Lott’s division one winning tally has now reached 320 so far this calendar year, including 132 won by Tatts customers.
