One Maryborough shopper has had a winning start to the week after scoring a division one prize in the weekend’s TattsLotto draw – they just don’t know it yet.
The elusive winner holds one of the 12 division one winning entries across Australia in TattsLotto draw 4051, drawn Saturday 16 May 2020. Each entry won the division one prize of $410,606.71.
Although the entry is registered to a Tatts Card, officials from the Lott have been unable to reach out to the winner on the contact details provided to confirm the news.
The winning entry was purchased at Maryborough News & Lotto, 192 High Street, Maryborough.
The Lott spokesperson Matt Hart said the mystery Maryborough winner could be oblivious to the fact their winning entry was in their pocket, in their purse or stuck on the fridge.
“There are over four hundred thousand reasons why you should check your ticket today! Once you discover you are now a division one winner, imagine how the rest of the week, month and year might look!” he said.
“You may not think it’s possible you’re the division one winner we’re searching for, but if you purchased a registered entry in the weekend’s TattsLotto draw that you haven’t checked yet, you’re in with a chance!
“We’re urging all TattsLotto players to check their entries as soon as possible and if you discover you are holding the division one winning ticket to contact Tatts on 131 868 to begin the process of claiming your prize.”
Mr Hart also reminded players of the importance of keeping their Tatts Card details up to date so they could be contacted in the event of a win.
In 2019, Monday & Wednesday Lotto and Tatts Lotto created 203 millionaires across Australia.
The winning numbers in TattsLotto draw 4051 on Saturday 16 May 2020 were 17, 26, 16, 11, 4 and 19, while the supplementary numbers were 15 and 25.
Across Australia, there were 12 division one winning entries in TattsLotto draw 4051 – four from Victoria, three from Queensland, two from South Australia and one each from New South Wales, the Northern Territory and Western Australia.
The Lott’s division one winning tally has now reached 131 so far this calendar year, including 50 won by Tatts customers.
Between 1 January and 31 December 2019, there were 289 division one winning TattsLotto entries across Australia, which collectively won more than $333.41 million.
