The Woodford region has a new millionaire, or it will as soon as last night’s mystery Monday & Wednesday Gold Lotto division one winner checks their ticket and claims their $1 million prize!
As the entry was unregistered, Golden Casket has no way to contact the winner with the dream-come-true news and is urging players to check their tickets today.
The winning entry was the only winning entry in Monday & Wednesday Gold Lotto draw 3821, drawn on Wednesday 28 November 2018, winning the guaranteed division one prize of $1 million.
The exciting win comes just one day after a Deception Bay man won $2,146,633.67 in Tuesday night’s Oz Lotto draw.
The million-dollar winning Monday & Wednesday Gold Lotto ticket was purchased at Clew’s Newsagency, 99 Archer Street, Woodford.
Clew’s Newsagency team member Madeline Pickering said the team was ecstatic when they realised they had sold a division one winning ticket.
“Oh my god we’ve been waiting for this to happen again,” she exclaimed with delight.
“I believe this is the tenth division one winning ticket we’ve sold since opening in 1980.”
Golden Casket spokesperson Lauren Cooney said the division one winning entry was not registered to a Winners Circle card, so the identity of the winner was a true mystery.
“If you bought a ticket in last night’s Monday & Wednesday Gold Lotto draw, we promise it could be absolutely worthwhile for you to check your ticket now,” she said.
“You could be our mystery division one winner! Imagine how your plans for the weekend could change after you discover you’re $1 million richer.

So far this calendar year, Monday & Wednesday Gold Lotto and Saturday Gold Lotto have created 165 millionaires across Australia.
The winning numbers in Monday & Wednesday Gold Lotto draw 3821 on Wednesday 28 October 2018 were 38, 23, 30, 39, 2 and 44, while the supplementary numbers were 1 and 24.
Across Australia there was only one division one winning entry in Monday & Wednesday Gold Lotto draw 3821 – the entry from Queensland.
The Lott’s division one winning tally has now reached 159 so far this calendar year, including 38 won by Golden Casket customers.
