Ten Townsville locals are walking around unable to wipe the smiles off their faces this morning after their Monday and Wednesday Gold Lotto syndicate scored division one in last night’s draw.
The North Queensland entry was the only division one winning entry nationally in Monday & Wednesday Gold Lotto draw 3924, on Monday 25 November 2019 and takes home the guaranteed division one prize of $1,000,000.
In addition to winning division one, the System 7 QuickPick entry also scored division three 6 times, boosting the total prize to $1,003,137.40.
Each member of the syndicate takes home a prize worth $100,313.74.
The million-dollar winning syndicate was sold at Mooney News & Lotto, 86 Mooney Street, Gulliver.
Mooney News & Lotto owner Andrew Taylor said he had a sleepless night after discovering his store had sold the million-dollar winning entry.
“This is going to change so many lives,” he said.
“Our ten customers are going to be absolutely over the moon!
