Winning newsagency available for filming
More than 34 hours after the winning numbers were drawn, officials from The Lott are yet to hear the winning cries of joy from Thursday night’s mystery division one Powerball winner who scored $100 million.
The Sydney player held the only division one winning entry nationally in Powerball draw 1517, drawn Thursday 12 June 2025 and can look forward to an eye-watering $100 million.
Unfortunately, the multi-million-dollar winning entry was not registered to The Lott Members Club which means lottery officials have no way of contacting the winner. Instead, they’re waiting for the ticketholder to check their ticket and make contact.
The winning entry was purchased at Bondi Junction Newsagency & Internet Café, Shop 2, 191 - 195 Oxford Street, Bondi Junction.
Bondi Junction Newsagency & Internet Café owner Manish said the team was over the moon to have sold a division one winning entry in Powerball worth a whopping $100 million.
“Wow! It’s legendary to hear we’ve sold the winning ticket in Thursday night’s Powerball draw worth $100 million,” he said.
“This is by far the biggest winning entry we’ve ever sold. The team are thrilled to hear the winning news. I’ll be rewarding the particular staff member who sold the winning ticket too!
“The staff here are always excited, but they’ll be extra excited to hear we’ve sold the big winning ticket.
