A mystery Innisfail shopper has started the week on a high, checking their Saturday Gold Lotto ticket to discover they were one of the weekend’s division one winners.
The Far North Queensland player held one of the six division one winning entries across Australia in Saturday Gold Lotto draw 4063 on Saturday 27 June 2020. Each entry won a division one prize of $797,002.74.
However, how the state’s latest division one winner plans to enjoy their windfall will remain a mystery as they’ve decided to remain completely anonymous and celebrate in private.
The division one winning entry was purchased at Larsen’s News & Casket Agency, 60 Rankin Street, Innisfail.
Larsen’s News & Casket Agency owner Barbara Kremastos said the outlet was on a winning streak.
“We’ve sold three division one winning entries in the past 14 months,” she explained.
“It’s certainly been an exciting and happy time for our store.
“We’re so happy for our latest winner. It’s fantastic news for the region and for our town.
“Congratulations to them. We hope they really enjoy their prize.”
In 2019, Monday & Wednesday Gold Lotto and Saturday Gold Lotto created 203 millionaires across Australia.
The winning numbers in Saturday Gold Lotto draw 4063 on Saturday 27 June 2020 were 28, 41, 19, 35, 15 and 24, while the supplementary numbers were 23 and 30.
Across Australia, there were six division one winning entries in Saturday Gold Lotto draw 4063 – three from Victoria and one each from New South Wales, Queensland and Western Australia.
The Lott’s division one winning tally has now reached 193 so far this calendar year, including 55 won by Golden Casket customers.
