A Wyong man has had a winning finish to 2025, pocketing a $930,000 Saturday Lotto prize just in time for the new year.
The New South Welshman held one of the seven division one winning entries nationally in Saturday Lotto draw 4637 on Saturday 27 December 2025. His total prize was $941,349.30.
“Incredible!” the man exclaimed when speaking to an official from The Lott.
“I got an email saying I had won a prize, but it didn’t have the amount on it.
“I thought, ‘yay, I’ve won $100!’. But then I checked my ticket and saw it was a whole lot more!
“It’s just fantastic. It creates whole new opportunities for my family.
“It will make life a lot easier, and I think we’ll be looking for a new home in the new year.
“For now, I thought I’d take the family out to dinner at the pub to celebrate.”
The man’s winning System 7 entry was purchased at Newspower Wyong, Wyong Village Shopping Centre, Shop 5, 18-34 Alison Road, Wyong.
Newspower Wyong manager Arshdeep Singh Athwania said he was celebrating the outlet selling its first division one winning entry.
“When I first heard that our outlet had sold a division one winning entry, I was extremely surprised and could hardly believe it. I was in shock for a couple of minutes,” he shared.
“It will create a wonderful sense of excitement in the community.
“We had a couple of winning Instant Scratch-Its tickets, and now we’re thrilled to have a division one winner in Lotto.
“Moments like this remind us why we love serving our customers and being part of the community.
“We truly feel honoured to play a small part in such a life-changing win, and we look forward to celebrating many more happy moments with our customers in the future.”
The winning numbers in Saturday Lotto draw 4637 on 27 December 2025 were 26, 20, 40, 3, 5 and 28, while the supplementary numbers were 22 and 42.
Across Australia, there were seven division one winning entries in Saturday Lotto draw 4637 – three in New South Wales, two in Western Australia and one each in Queensland and Victoria.
