A Pendle Hills man was left smiling ear to ear after initially thinking his Lucky Lotteries ticket had won him $200, only to discover it was actually worth a thrilling $200,000.
The Western Sydney resident held the 1st Prize winning entry in Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot draw 1768, drawn Monday 16 February 2026. He looks forward to a neat $200,000.
“You don’t know what this means to me,” he gasped when an official from The Lott revealed his total prize.

“I initially thought I’d won $200 and then I noticed there were many more zeros. I couldn’t believe it.
“I’ve been playing and following the lottery draws for many years now.
“You won’t be able to wipe this smile off my face for days.
“I might need to swap my morning coffee for some bubbles after hearing this news.”
With $200,000 soon to boost his bank account, the winning man shared his newfound treasure would be life-enhancing.
“I was just sitting down and looking at finances this morning. This is going to lift a weight off my shoulders,” he explained.

His winning entry of 10 random numbers was purchased on The Lott website – the official home of Australia’s lotteries.
The Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot prize is now $24.88 million for draw 1769, while the Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot prize is now $1.02 million for draw 11061.
Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot and Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot are raffle-style games, which means there is a set number of tickets in each draw. As each ticket number is unique there is no sharing of prizes.
