A Croydon man in his 20s is ready to travel the world and set himself up for life after pocketing almost $1 million in the weekend’s TattsLotto draw.

The winning Victorian held one of the five division one winning entries across Australia in Saturday Lotto draw 4425 on Saturday 16 December 2023. Each division one winning entry pocketed $982,100.68.

“I just checked my ticket just now and I just about got a heart attack,” the winning man exclaimed when an official from The Lott called to confirm his prize.

“It’s very bizarre. It’s just insane!

“The funny thing is, I only play TattsLotto every and then – just when I remember to grab a ticket.

“I’ve been fortunate in life in many ways, but this is just mind-numbing.

“I don’t know how to explain it. It’s just an incredible amount to win.

“It’s an awesome time to win. I’ll be able to set myself up for life.

“I think there will be some more travel on the horizon too.

“I don’t know what my brain’s doing at the moment.

“Unbelievable!”

The man’s winning 18-game QuickPick was purchased online at thelott.com – the official home of Australia’s lotteries.

The winning numbers in TattsLotto draw 4425 on 16 December 2023 were 12, 39, 13, 8, 17 and 41, while the supplementary numbers were 27 and 32.
