A Newport man is one step closer to fulfilling his dream of owning his very own home after scoring division one in the weekend’s Super 66 draw.
The Victorious Victorian held one of the two division one winning entries in Super 66 draw 4191 on Saturday 18 September 2021, with each pocketing a $37,468.60 prize.
Sharing his shock with an official from The Lott yesterday morning, the man explained he’d checked his ticket over the weekend.
“I’m baffled! I purchase a Super 66 entry once in a while, and I’ve never expected to score a win,” he happily shared with an official from The Lott.
“When I opened The Lott app and checked my ticket on the weekend, I had to refresh the app about five times. I couldn’t believe it!
“I just kept thinking, ‘Is this real?’
“I’ve shared the news with some close family members, and they’re delighted for me.”
When asked how he planned to enjoy his good fortune, the stoked bloke said it was a dream come true.
“After some thought, I’d like to put it towards my very first home. Perhaps a house deposit!” he revealed.
“This will be a big help towards owning my first home. A very big help!”
The winning 50-game QuickPick entry was purchased online at thelott.com – Australia’s official lotteries.
The winning numbers in Super 66 draw 4191 on Saturday 18 September 2021 were 3, 0, 1, 3, 9, 5.
Super 66 is an add-on game played with TattsLotto, Monday & Wednesday Lotto, Oz Lotto and Powerball.
