A Mackay woman has let out screams of joy and announced her love for a lottery official moments after discovering she’d pocketed $200,000 in yesterday’s Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot draw.

The North Queensland resident held the 1st Prize winning entry in Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot draw 1730, drawn Monday 3 November 2025. She looks forward to a dreamy $200,000.

“I love you! You’ve just become my instant bestie!” she cheered when an official from The Lott called to reveal her prize.

“I’m standing outside my work at the moment, and I’m trying my best to contain my excitement.

“I can’t believe it!

“I noticed I had a missed call and text from you earlier today and I got a little excited, but I told myself I wouldn’t be convinced until I heard it straight from the horse’s mouth.

“Now that you’ve confirmed the win, it’s starting to feel real.

“I can’t wait to tell my partner the good news.”

The winning woman shared her prize would allow her to finally pack her bags and enjoy some time off.

“You know what, this has come at a great time! My partner and I have been talking about doing some travel in the near future,” she said.

“It always felt a little distant until now. Italy has definitely been on our wish list.

“I’m sure a few things might change with $200,000 in the bank.”

Her winning entry of five random numbers was purchased via The Lott app – the official home of Australia’s lotteries.

The Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot prize is now $15.76 million for draw 1731, while the Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot prize is now $1.28 million for draw 11046.

In FY25, 182 Lucky Lotteries 1st Prize and Jackpot Prize winning entries across Australia won more than $20.5 million.

Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot and Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot are raffle-style games, which means there is a set number of tickets in each draw. As each ticket number is unique there is no sharing of prizes.

Each game has two draws – one that determines the winning numbers and one that determines the jackpot number. If the jackpot number matches one of the winning numbers, then the Jackpot Prize is won. If the jackpot number does not match one of the winning numbers, the Jackpot Prize will climb for the next draw.

Tickets can be purchased at any licenced lottery outlet, online from thelott.com or via The Lott mobile app.

The official home of Australia’s lotteries, The Lott operates and markets Australia’s leading lottery games customers know and love creating everyday winners, winning every day.
