A jovial group of 10 Strathpine shoppers will be jumping for joy this week after their syndicate scored division one in the weekend’s Saturday Gold Lotto draw.
The store syndicate held one of the seven division one winning entries in Saturday Gold Lotto draw 4269, drawn Saturday 18 June 2022. Each entry scored a division one prize of $731,699.38.
In addition to the division one win, the syndicate’s System entry also won division three 6 times, bolstering the total prize to $736,018.78. Each member of the syndicate receives a share worth $73,601.87.
Shares into the winning syndicate were sold at Nextra Strathpine, Shop 36 & 37 Westfield Strathpine, 295 Gympie Road, Strathpine.
However, as some of the syndicate members were unregistered, they may have yet to discover their division one winning news. Players are being urged to check their tickets today.
Nextra Strathpine owners Deb and Emmett Bailey said they were thrilled one of the store’s regular weekly syndicates had hit it big.
“This is absolutely incredible, and we’re so excited!” Deb proclaimed.
“The syndicate is made up of games for each night of the week and there are still four more draws to come so more chances for the syndicate to win another prize!
“Our last division one winning entry was sold right before Covid hit. We were just saying this week that we’d love to see one of our syndicates win a major prize.

The Lott spokesperson James Eddy said he encouraged anyone who purchased a syndicate share into the recent Saturday Gold Lotto draw to check their entries as soon as they could.

The winning numbers in Saturday Gold Lotto draw 4269 on 19 June 2022 were 37, 11, 27, 1, 22, 34, while the supplementary numbers were 44 and 43.
Across Australia, there were seven division one winning entries in Saturday Gold Lotto draw 4269 – four in Victoria and one each in Queensland, South Australia, and Victoria.
The Lott’s division one winning tally has now reached 216 so far this calendar year, including 50 won by Golden Casket customers.
In 2021, Saturday Gold Lotto created 210 millionaires across Australia.
