A Wellington Point woman has confessed her heart rate skyrocketed upon discovering she’d won $100,000 in a recent Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw.
The Redlands local held the 1st Prize winning entry in Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw 10858 drawn Monday 1 July 2024.
When officials from The Lott contacted the winning woman, she was out on her morning walk and completely oblivious to her wondrous win.
“Oh my god, I can’t believe it!” she exclaimed.
“The suspense was killing me, and now my heart is racing so fast that it feels like it is going to beat out of my chest.
“I’ve been playing Lucky Lotteries for years patiently waiting for my winning moment. I’m absolutely thrilled!
“This is the biggest prize I’ve ever won by far!
“You have no idea how perfect this is because my car desperately needs to be upgraded.
“Thank you so much for your call. This is the best phone call I’ve ever received.”
The woman’s winning entry of four random numbers was purchased on The Lott website – the official home of Australia’s lotteries.
The Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot prize is now $1.24 million for draw 1683, while the Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot prize is over $2.4 million for draw 10859.
In 2023, 117 Lucky Lotteries 1st Prize and Jackpot winning entries across Australia won more than $20.6 million.
Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot and Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot are raffle-style games, which means there is a set number of tickets in each draw. As each ticket number is unique there is no sharing of prizes.
Each game has two draws – one that determines the winning numbers and one that determines the jackpot number. If the jackpot number matches one of the winning numbers, then the Jackpot Prize is won. If the jackpot number does not match one of the winning numbers, the Jackpot Prize will climb for the next draw.
Tickets can be purchased at any licenced lottery outlet, online from thelott.com or via The Lott mobile app.
The official home of Australia’s lotteries, The Lott operates and markets Australia’s leading lottery games customers know and love creating everyday winners, winning every day.
