A St Albans woman is looking forward to ticking a few things off her bucket list after winning over $2 million in Saturday’s TattsLotto $20 million Superdraw.
The woman held one of the nine division one winning entries across Australia in TattsLotto draw 3873 on Saturday 1 September 2018. Each entry took home a division one prize of $2,222,222.23.
The thrilled woman was about to start work for the day when a Tatts official called to break the life-changing news.
“You’re kidding me aren’t you?!” she exclaimed in disbelief.
“Can you tell me that number again? Nice! Very nice!
“We all dream of receiving this phone call but I never thought I’d get this call this morning!
“I was just about to start work for the day. Well I could seriously consider not going to work next Monday!”
When asked how she planned to spend her TattsLotto windfall, the St Albans woman revealed the influx of cash would speed up some of her long-term plans.
“We’ve been planning to rebuild our house and I’ve been putting away money as it has always been a long-term plan,” she explained.
“Now that long-term plan has become very short!
“I’ve always had a bucket list dream of going on a trip on The Ghan so I can tick that off the list too!”
The thrilled winner, who wishes to remain anonymous, purchased her 12-game QuickPick entry from St Albans Lotto & Newsagency, 304 Main Road East, St Albans.
So far this calendar year, Monday & Wednesday TattsLotto and Saturday TattsLotto have created 128 millionaires across Australia.
The winning numbers in Saturday TattsLotto draw 3873 on Saturday 1 September 2018 were 36, 16, 14, 10, 43 and 5, while the supplementary numbers were 19 and 18.
Across Australia there were nine division one winning entries in Saturday TattsLotto draw 3873 – three each from Victoria and New South Wales, and one each from Queensland, South Australia and Western Australia.
The Lott’s division one winning tally has now reached 275 so far this calendar year, including 113 won by Tatts customers.
Last financial year, there were 290 division one winning Saturday TattsLotto entries across the Lott’s jurisdictions, which collectively won more than $302.7 million.
