A Streaky Bay visitor or local has walked into their own winter wonderland with a division one win after scoring $868,000 in the weekend’s Saturday X Lotto’s draw.
The South Australian player held one of the six division one winning entries across Australia in X Lotto draw 4267 on Saturday 11 June 2022. Each division one winning entry scored $868,291.68
However, how they plan to spend their division one win will forever remain a mystery as they have chosen to stay completely anonymous and celebrate their win in private.
The winning entry was purchased from Streaky Bay Newsagency, 5 Ray Road, Streaky Bay.
Streaky Bay Newsagency co-owner Sam Kirby said she was thrilled to hear one of her customers had taken home a division one win.
“How exciting, we’ve owned the outlet since 2019 and this is our first division one winning entry that we’ve sold! It’s the start to many more!” she said.
“We’d love to know that we’ve been able to give back to the community that has continually supported us.
“We would like to congratulate our winner and hope that this win has been life-changing for them.
“We're so excited to sell more division one entries in the future.”
The Lott spokesperson Francesca Figliano said she was sure the winner was busy making life-changing plans with their win.
“While we may never know how they plan to enjoy their prize, we have no doubt they are walking around today with a spring in their step, making plans for their future” she said.
“Other winners tell us they use their prize to help their families for years to come, kick-start their businesses, upgrade their home with renovations or splurge on a new car.
“However our winner chooses to use their prize, we hope they enjoy their winning feeling as long as they can.”
The winning numbers in Saturday X Lotto draw 4267 on 11 June 2022 were 39, 45, 21, 11, 10, 19 while the supplementary numbers were 25 and 35.
