An Adelaide couple are spending the weekend celebrating their whirlwind windfall of $200,000, won in Tuesday’s Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot draw.
The South Australian locals won the guaranteed 1st Prize of $200,000 in Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot draw 1284, drawn 23 April 2019.
Confirming their win with an SA Lotteries official this afternoon, the couple revealed they were in shock when they discovered they were $200,000 richer.
“Oh wow! Are you sure?” the winning woman questioned.
“We can’t believe it!
“We’ve been playing Lucky Lotteries for about six months on and off.
“The huge jackpot caught our attention.
“Of course you always dream about winning but never think it will happen to you!”
The couple said they’d be very sensible with their prize and knew exactly how they’d use it.
“We will put it all towards the mortgage. It will be a huge chunk paid off and will be great in the future,” she said.
“Then we will do some travelling around the country to celebrate.”
The thrilled winners, who wishes to remain anonymous, purchased their winning entry of two random numbers at Kilkenny Lotteries Kiosk, T137 Arndale Central Shopping Centre, 470 Torrens Road, Kilkenny.
The Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot prize is now $58.36 million for draw 1290 while the Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot is now $630,000 million for draw 10286.
