Oz Lotto will offer its biggest-ever jackpot of $100 million next Tuesday night after there were no division one winners in tonight’s draw.
If one person were to take home the entire $100 million prize in next Tuesday’s draw (draw 1616 on Tuesday 4 February 2025), they’ll immediately become the biggest individual Oz Lotto winner ever and share the title of Australia’s third-biggest lottery winner in history.
Next week’s historic Oz Lotto jackpot comes after no Aussies held all the seven winning numbers needed to win division one during the past seven Oz Lotto draws.
While there were no division one winning entries in tonight’s Oz Lotto draw 1615 on Tuesday 28 January 2025, there were 1,171,843 prizes in divisions two to seven worth more than $26.53 million. This includes 21 division two prizes each worth $46,305.20.
The Lott spokesperson Eliza Wregg said the $100 million Oz Lotto jackpot would see Aussies from all corners of the country rush to secure their entry for the chance to transform 2025 and beyond.
“Oz Lotto has only ever offered a $100 million prize once before. On that occasion in 2012, the jackpot was shared by four division one winning entries across Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland,” she said.
“We can’t wait to see if we make history next Tuesday night and welcome our first Oz Lotto multi-millionaire of 2025.
“In addition to it being the biggest prize offered by any Australian lottery game at the moment, this $100 million Oz Lotto prize is also the biggest jackpot offered by any Australian lottery game so far this year.
“That’s why we expect up to one-in-three Australian adults to have a ticket into this $100 million Oz Lotto draw before the clock strikes 7.30pm AEST on Tuesday night.
“To put that into context, the peak of sales for one of our recent big Oz Lotto draws, the $90 million Oz Lotto draw in December 2023, was at 6.30pm when 6,010 tickets were sold in a single minute.
"Just imagine the possibilities with $100 million in your back pocket! Whether it's the trip of a lifetime, the home of your dreams or setting your family up for generations to come, someone’s dreams could become a reality next Tuesday night.”
To make sure players don’t miss out on a shot at the $100 million Oz Lotto jackpot, Ms Wregg reminded everyone that ticket sales closed at 7:30pm AEST on Tuesday 28 January 2025.
“As always, the only way to be in with a chance to win this multi-million-dollar prize is by grabbing a ticket in-store at a friendly retailer, online or via The Lott app,” she advised.
“Our top recommendation for players is to register their in-store and online entries to The Lott Members Club – that way you could be on the receiving end of a division one phone call you wouldn’t want to miss!
“Registering your ticket also ensures your entry is secure and reduces the risk of losing or misplacing a ticket.”
The winning numbers in Oz Lotto draw 1615 on Tuesday 28 January 2025 were 44, 33, 24, 3, 34, 36, and 42 while the supplementary numbers were 5, 1, and 10.
Tickets into Oz Lotto draw 1616, drawn Tuesday 4 February 2025, can be purchased at any licenced lottery outlet, online from thelott.com or via The Lott mobile app.
In 2024, 17 Oz Lotto division one winning across Australia collectively won more than $295 million.
During this time, the biggest Oz Lotto prize was a $50 million jackpot pocketed by a man from Burra in South Australia.
Of the 17 Oz Lotto division one winning entries in 2024, nine landed in New South Wales, three each in South Australia and Queensland, and two in Victoria.
