The Moreton Bay resident held the only division one winning entry nationally in Weekday Windfall draw 4696, drawn Wednesday 29 April 2026 and takes home a neat $1 million.
“Yay! Thank you very much!” he exclaimed when an official from The Lott confirmed his bounty earlier this morning.
“It’s wonderful news. I’m so excited.
“I looked at my ticket last night and I had the best sleep!
“I’ve already shared the news with my wife and she was very surprised. We’ve got kids but we’ve decided to keep the news between us while we decide what to do next.
“It’s exactly what I needed as I’m very close to retirement!
“I’ll have to make an appointment with a financial advisor and set up my future now.
“Thank you! Thank you!”
His winning System 7 entry was purchased on The Lott website – the official home of Australia’s lotteries.
The winning numbers in Weekday Windfall draw 4696 on Wednesday 29 April 2026 were 18, 2, 4, 20, 15 and 41, while the supplementary numbers were 36 and 24.
